Retired school security assistants. A school security assistant, who has retired and who is temporarily reemployed on an emergency basis, will be compensated at his/her salary step on the salary schedule at the time of their retirement.

Educational Assistants Teachers are responsible to assign instructional duties to Educational Assistants who are allocated to students in their classroom by the Principal.
EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.
