RETENTION OF QUALITY CONTROL. INSPECTION RECORDS Unless otherwise directed in the Contract, the Seller shall retain the quality control/ inspection records for a period of three years from completion of all work under the Contract, and shall make them available to the Buyer on request. Exceptionally, when requested by the Seller, earlier disposal may be authorized in writing by the Seller if acceptable to the Buyer. At the end of the retention period, the Seller shall seek confirmation that the quality control/inspection records may be destroyed. If the Buyer wishes them to be retained, the Seller will make the necessary arrangements for their delivery to the Buyer.
