Erosion and Sediment Control. The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.

Erosion and Sediment Control. Contractor agrees to provide a management plan prior to any exterior ground work being performed to prevent loss of soil during construction by stormwater runoff and/or wind erosion, including protecting topsoil by stockpiling for reuse, preventing sedimentation of storm sewer or receiving streams, and preventing pollution of the air with dust and particulate matter. Contractor shall log building operations and maintenance activity to ensure that the plan has been followed.
Erosion and Sediment Control a) If required by the Town Public Works Director or the Town's Chief Building Official, the Owner shall prepare and submit an Erosion Control Plan acceptable to the Town Public Works Director to be adhered to during development of the "subject lands", which plan shall include an acceptable maintenance schedule and starting and completion dates.

IMMIGRATION REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: All contracts must include the Contractor’s written compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), D.L. 99-603 and the Georgia Security Compliance Act OCGA 13-10-90 et.seq. Contractors who meet the reporting criteria will be required to submit a Contractor Affidavit and Agreement prior to the award of the contract. Upon award of the contract, the Contractor will also be required to submit a Subcontractor’s Affidavit. Copies of these Affidavits are incorporated in the Supplementary General Conditions.
Erosion and Sediment Control. The Owner agrees to implement the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan to provide for protection of the receiving storm sewer or water course during construction activities. This plan, to be used during construction, is intended to ensure that no sediment and/or associated pollutants are discharged to a receiving water course which could degrade water quality and/or impair fish or other aquatic habitat. The methods used should be regularly maintained to ensure effectiveness of the methods and compliance with provincial/federal legislation pertaining to water quality and habitat.

Erosion and Sediment Control. Furnish and install sediment and erosion control measures inclusive of, but not limited to, silt fencing, and construction entrances around the existing playground. Design-Builder shall be responsible for the maintenance of the measures during deconstruction/construction.
Erosion and Sediment Control. The Owner shall also ensure that all required sediment and erosion controls are in place and properly maintained so as to prevent erosion damage to the site or surrounding land, damage to the environment, and the export of sediment from the site. The appropriate erosion and sediment control measures are to be installed prior to construction and site disturbance and are to be maintained until all disturbed areas are stabilized. The measures are to be maintained and disturbed areas stabilized so as to ensure that sediments do not enter any watercourse, wetland, lake, pond or sensitive area. If the erosion and sediment control measures are inadequate, the deficiencies are to be immediately addressed and rectified. It is the Owner’s responsibility to implement, monitor and maintain all such works. All material stockpiled for a period of 30 days or longer must be stabilized or re- vegetated to prevent erosion.
