Common use of Retailer of Last Resort Clause in Contracts

Retailer of Last Resort. 10.1. In the unlikely event that QEnergy is unable to continue as your electricity retailer and it becomes necessary to transfer you to a retailer of last resort for that nominated premises, you authorise QEnergy to provide all necessary information to the retailer of last resort for your transfer and implementation of electricity supply. You authorise QEnergy to undertake this transfer and to do anything else necessary to implement and arrange your supply by the retailer of last resort.

Retailer of Last Resort. 10.19.1. In the unlikely event that QEnergy is unable to continue as your electricity retailer and it becomes necessary to transfer you to a retailer of last resort for that nominated premises, you authorise QEnergy to provide all necessary information to the retailer of last resort for your transfer and implementation of electricity supply.
