Research Integrity. Section 1: Employees are governed by, subject to, and have rights as outlined in the University’s Misconduct in Research policies, as may be amended from time to time. Complaints regarding research and integrity shall be processed solely in accordance with University policies and related procedures, which may be amended from time to time by the University. Section 2: The Union may raise the topic of authorship disputes with a group comprised of representatives from the Office of Faculty Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, and the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs who will organize and engage in discussion of the authorship dispute issues. Section 3: The University shall not engage in any form of retaliation against an Employee who engages in a good faith effort to assert rights or otherwise participates under the University’s Misconduct in Research policies.
