Request to Decrease Time. a. A full-time employee on continuing appointment, who, prior to March 31, requests to teach part-time commencing the following school year, may be granted the request to teach part-time provided the assignment is compatible with the organization of the school and the district. At the request of the employee, the difference between the percentage of a part-time position and a full- time position shall be granted as personal leave.
