Request for Sabbatical Leave. a. A request for a sabbatical leave of one (1) year shall be submitted in writing to the Superintendent by April 1 of the school year preceding the requested sabbatical leave. b. A request for a sabbatical leave of one (1) semester shall be submitted in writing to the Superintendent by April 1 for the first semester or December 1 for the second semester.
