Request for Sabbatical Leave. 38 39 A preliminary request for Sabbatical Leave should be filed in the office of the building 40 principal by October 15 for leaves to begin September 1 of the following year. Final 41 plans shall be submitted to the Associate Superintendent, Human Resources by 42 November 1. Applications received after November 1 shall not be given consideration.

Request for Sabbatical Leave a. A request for a sabbatical leave of one (1) year shall be submitted in writing to the Superintendent by April 1 of the school year preceding the requested sabbatical leave.
Request for Sabbatical Leave. The request for a sabbatical leave shall be submitted on Form A-50 prior to November 1st of the school year preceding the academic years for which the leave of absence is desired. All materials pertinent to said leave must be submitted no later than January 1st following the submission of the application.
Request for Sabbatical Leave. Written application for sabbatical leave shall be made by the faculty member to the appropriate Xxxx or Chair and the Personnel Committee Chair by October 1st of the academic year prior to the academic year when the Sabbatical will take place (this includes sabbaticals occurring in the Fall or Spring terms). The Xxxx or Chair will forward his or her recommendation to the Faculty Senate Personnel Committee no later than the October 31st following the date of application. The faculty member shall present, as part of the application, evidence to support the program of activities which is planned for the sabbatical period. The program of activities should give reasonable promise of accomplishing the major purpose of the leave as stated above. Sabbatical leave may be granted for further education.
