Common use of Reporting of Absence Clause in Contracts

Reporting of Absence. An employee who is to be absent from work on a scheduled workday shall be required to notify the Department at least two (2) hours prior to reporting time, unless the circumstances are such that it is not reasonably practicable to do so. If the employee knows at the time of reporting off that the period of absence is to exceed one (1) day, the employee shall make it known at that time.
