Common use of Replacement Staff Clause in Contracts

Replacement Staff. L62:01 Where an employee is absent from work the Board may provide a replacement employee to perform the absent employee’s duties. In elementary schools with an allocation of one full- time secretary, a replacement employee shall be provided, upon request, when an employee is absent from work for a half-day or more. The exception to this shall be for the extension of family care leaves granted under clause L24:02. L63:01 The Board will develop an attendance support policy, in consultation with the Union.
