Common use of Replacement Coverage Clause in Contracts

Replacement Coverage. The above Article 13.11 - Shift Preference is not applicable to scheduling replacement coverage for employees who advise the Employer they are unable to attend for their scheduled shift within six (6) working hours of the start of their scheduled shift. For the purpose of this Clause, working hours shall mean hours during which the employee’s work unit is operating.
