Common use of Release for Legislative Activities Clause in Contracts

Release for Legislative Activities. Nurses selected by the Association to assist 29 in interacting with members of the Oregon State Legislature or their staff will seek 30 to obtain scheduled time off for this purpose as far in advance as possible. The 31 employer will undertake reasonable efforts to grant the requested time off. The 32 Association will limit such requests so that a maximum of 2 nurses will be 33 released for this purpose at any given time and release for legislative activities is 1 limited to 24 hours per calendar year. Unless using PLH, release for legislative 2 activities shall be unpaid.
