Release and Deployment Management. Verizon will apply routine, vendor-distributed patches upon review with and approval by Customer. Customer is solely responsible for the resources and costs required to upgrade Customer-provided applications to new (or newer) software versions, although it may engage Verizon Professional Services for that purpose.

Release and Deployment Management. Verizon will regularly apply routine, vendor-routine patches as distributed patches by the vendors upon review with and approval by Customer. Customer is solely responsible for the resources and costs required to upgrade Customer-provided applications to new (or newer) software versions. In the event that Customer wants to upgrade to a new, although it minor or major application software release during the contract term and would like to engage Verizon to perform such upgrades, Customer may engage Verizon Xxxxxxx’s Professional Services for that purposeteam to scope and execute the upgrade as part of a separate professional services engagement, as mutually agreed upon by the parties and executed under the PSA.
