Common use of Relations with Students Clause in Contracts

Relations with Students. 9.3.1 With respect to students, Members: (a) shall avoid all forms of discrimination as specified in Article 8; (b) shall disclose the existence of any conflict of interest or of other circumstances known to them which may reasonably introduce or appear to introduce bias into their academic judgement or administrative decisions with respect to students by notifying their ▇▇▇▇ in writing; (c) shall not accept additional remuneration for tutoring students enrolled in courses taught by the Member; (d) shall respect the confidentiality of information about a student gained through the exercise of academic duties; such information may be used or disclosed where such use or disclosure has the student's consent, or is required in the fulfilment of a Member's responsibilities. 9.3.2 Upon notification pursuant to 9.3.1(b), a ▇▇▇▇ shall: (a) permit the student to remain in the Mem ber' s course and mak e arrangements for independent evaluation of the student's performance; or (b) with the Member's consent, permit the student to remain in the Member's course without special arrangements for an independent evaluation; or (c) require the student to be transferred from the Member's course.
