Regular Inductee Sample Clauses
Regular Inductee. Any employee who leaves active employment for the purpose of entering the armed forces or Coast Guard, either by enlistment, draft, or recall, (including activation of a reserve unit), will be granted a Military Leave of Absence. Upon the expiration of such Leave of Absence, each employee will be restored to his/her former job classification or to a position of like seniority, status and pay, unless circumstances of the Village have so changed as to make it impossible or unreasonable to do so. This will be done in accordance with USERRA.
Regular Inductee. Employees who have entered, or who hereafter shall enter, by voluntary enlistment, induction into service by draft, or conscription, upon active service in the armed forces of the United States, shall be entitled to any rights, benefits and to return to work with the County Highway Department upon the terms and conditions set forth in the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) and will be afforded all the privileges provided by 5 ILCS 330/1 et. Seq. and/or any other law or laws applicable to such employees.
