Common use of Records Retention and Access Clause in Contracts

Records Retention and Access. Manager must maintain all books and records regarding the Lottery Gaming Facility for a minimum period of five (5) years, or such other longer period as may be imposed by regulation or statute. Manager must permit access to such books and records as is legally required by law, regulation, or this Agreement, including giving access to the Post Auditor for the Kansas Legislature, the Executive Director or his designee, authorized representatives for the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission, or any authorized representative of the United States government.
