Reclassification Downwards Clause Samples

Reclassification Downwards. An employee shall retain her original salary if reclassified downwards and may be "red circled" in the new classification. If the employee is still red circled at the conclusion of the two (2) years, the employee's salary will be reduced to the maximum salary of the lower classification.
Reclassification Downwards. (a) If a position is reclassified downward the incumbent shall, subject to subsection 6.2.4(b) following, retain his pay band. (b) If a position is reclassified downward the incumbent shall have her name placed on a re-employment list for two (2) years for a class of positions similar to and with the same pay band as her position before it was downgraded. The employee shall not be entitled to any economic adjustment until such time as the maximum of the pay band for the lower class overtakes the maximum of the pay band retained under this subsection. Until it is possible for the Corporation to place the incumbent from the re-employment list, she will advance through the steps of the pay band retained herein.
Reclassification Downwards. No employee shall have their wages reduced because of a reclassification downwards. The incumbent of a position which is reclassified downwards shall be paid in accordance with Article 7.5.
