Common use of Receipt and Holding of Assets Clause in Contracts

Receipt and Holding of Assets. The Fund will deliver or cause to be delivered to the Custodian all Securities and monies owned by it at any time during the period of this Custody Agreement. The Custodian will not be responsible for such Securities and monies until actually received. The Board specifically authorizes the Custodian to hold Securities, Assets or other property of the Fund with any domestic subcustodian, or Securities Depository, and Foreign Custodians or Eligible Securities Depositories in the Selected Countries as provided in Article II. Securities and monies of the Fund deposited in a Securities Depository or Eligible Securities Depositories will be reflected in an account or accounts which include only assets held by the Custodian or a Foreign Custodian for its customers.
