Reassignment & Transfer Clause Samples

The Reassignment & Transfer clause governs the conditions under which rights or obligations under an agreement may be reassigned or transferred from one party to another. Typically, this clause outlines whether such transfers require prior written consent, specify any exceptions, or detail the process for notifying the other party. For example, it may allow a company to transfer its contractual rights to a subsidiary or restrict assignment to prevent unwanted third parties from entering the agreement. Its core function is to provide clarity and control over changes in contractual relationships, thereby protecting the interests of all parties involved.
