Ready to Serve Charge (Availability Charge Sample Clauses

Ready to Serve Charge (Availability Charge. The monthly Ready to Serve Charge will be based upon the number of Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDU) of capacity available for use by the City based on the reserved capacity (initially 1,360,000 GPD). The number of EDUs of available capacity shall be determined by dividing the reserved capacity by 250 GPD/EDU allocation value. The Ready to Serve Charge will be calculated by multiplying the number of EDUs of available capacity by the County’s quarterly residential Ready to Serve rate. The result of which will be divided by 3 to establish the monthly billing to the City for the Ready to Serve component of the charges. The County shall begin invoicing the City for the Ready to Serve charge component once the City’s GHPWWTP reaches its design average daily flow capacity of 8 MGD and/or the loading limits in its discharge permit, based on a 12 consecutive month rolling average, or on July 1, 2019, whichever event occurs first. Should the GHPWWTP begin intermittently diverting flow to the County’s FCMPSI before July 1, 2019 or before the GHPWWTP flow exceeds 8 MGD (based on the 12 consecutive month rolling average value) the County shall assess the monthly Ready to Serve component of the charges only during those months when flow from the GHPWWTP was diverted to the County’s MPSI. This provision regarding the Ready to Serve charges associated with intermittent flow diversions shall end, and will no longer be in effect, once the GHPWWTP flow exceeds 8 MGD (based on the 12 consecutive month rolling average value) or on July 1, 2019, whichever event occurs first.
