Common use of Re-procurement Costs Clause in Contracts

Re-procurement Costs. In the case of default by Contractor, the County of Orange may procure the service from other sources and, if the cost is higher, Contractor will be held responsible to pay the County the difference between the price agreement cost and the price paid. The price paid by the County of Orange shall be the prevailing market price at the time such services are rendered. This is in addition to any other remedies available under law.
