RCW. No worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of this Contract shall be paid less than the prevailing rate of wage as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries for the State of Washington. In accordance with RCW 35.23.352(13), prevailing wages for all work performed pursuant to each Task Order issued under this Contract must be the prevailing wage rates in effect at the beginning date of each contract year that this Contract remains in effect. Prevailing wage rates shall be updated annually. Prior to making any payment under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the City an approved copy of the “Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages” from the Department of Labor and Industries. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to obtain and file the Statement. The PrincipalContractor shall be responsible for all filing fees. Notice from the Contractor and all subcontractors of intent to pay prevailing wages and prevailing wage rates for the Project must be posted for the benefit of the workers.
