Common use of Rates for Relief Work Clause in Contracts

Rates for Relief Work. 13.01 Any employee assigned to relieve a Departmental Manager for a period of more than two (2) days shall be paid a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for such position for all time employed. 13.02 Premium pay for relieving the above Departmental Managers shall be over and above the employee’s present regular rate of pay. In the case of an Assistant Department Manager, the difference between the Relief and Assistant Department Manager premium will be added to the Assistant’s rate for the period of relief.
