Department Managers. Associate Supporters retain the right to work regularly scheduled shifts, additional shifts and extra work to maintain staffing as part of their job duties and as scheduled by the Company. This is not to be used to erode the bargaining unit.
Department Managers. When a Department Manager is requested by the Employer to work:
Department Managers. Bakery, Deli, Meat, Produce, Centre of Store and Restaurant
Department Managers. Department Managers will not work outside their own department except in cases of emergency and in dealing with customers in the front end.
Department Managers. Those Department Managers whose position will, upon the opening of the new RCSS store, be excluded from the bargaining unit, will have the following options:
Department Managers. Employees in the new Department Manager positions will move to the next highest rate in the above hourly progressions–lump sums payments, where applicable. Any hourly increases will be applied to the end rates as indicated in the above charts. Current employees running the Departments that will now have designated Department Manager will automatically move to the Department Manager position, except postings within each store will be posted for Dairy, Grocery, Night Crew Department Managers, except Grocery if current Assistant Manager does not take a new Fresh Foods or Dry Goods Manager position. The Dairy Manager’s position will be posted as a straight day position with the store only. The remaining full-time Grocery Clerks may choose by seniority to go to either the Grocery or Dairy Department. A permanent Night Crew will be established within each store on an attrition basis when there are no longer employees who wish to rotate from days to nights or vise versa within their Department rotations will end. Department Managers. ( a) Until December 5, I960, Department Man agers will continue to receive prior fringe benefits. On and after December 5, I960, fringe benefits for Department Managers will be in accordance with this agreement, except that Department Managers pro moted prior to December 5, I960, will continue to receive life insurance benefits of Thirty-five hundred dollars ($3,500).
Department Managers may change an employee’s day(s) off by mutual agreement with the employee concerned.
