Quantity of Work. Considers volume of work and extent to which work schedules are met; productivity, timeliness.
Quantity of Work. The estimated quantities of work required to be carried out by the Contractor are as given in the Section - E (Schedule of Quantities and Price). These quantities are estimated and shall vary according to the exigencies of work at site. However, the rates quoted by Xxxxxx shall remain firm irrespective of any variation in estimated quantities. Contractors shall engage required nos. of workmen / machinery / equipment / vehicle along with required tools & tackles as per work load and emergency situations throughout the contract period to perform his contractual duties. In case, contract quantity / amount exhausted before completion of contract period, GIPCL reserve the rights to increase the quantities or contract amount for successful completion of entire contract period. Contractor shall responsible to complete the particular job up to entire satisfaction of Engineer In-charge. The item rates remain firm & unchanged (except change due to Diesel price variation) till completion of the contract and any agreed extensions thereafter and shall not be subject to any escalation, idle charges for labour, machinery, equipment, vehicle, overhead expenses etc. for any reason whatsoever. However Diesel price variation will be applicable as mentioned in the clause no 2 of Section D. The quantum of work of individual item may be up to any extent depending upon requirement. Under this contract, Contractor has to execute all work as per the Plant requirement.
