Purpose and Interpretation. The purpose of this Easement Agreement is to conserve natural resource and open space lands for the use and enjoyment of future generations by restricting development of the Protected Property through the transfer of development rights from the Protected Property to lands considered more appropriate for development. The Parties intend that this Easement Agreement be interpreted in a manner consistent with its purpose.
