Prototype Installation. 2.1 The Purchaser will submit engineering drawings. Prototype Installation. For the first Large Load Customer in each Viable Industry Target that is serviced by an Electric Utility that receives Services, Air Products will assist Comverge on prototype installations for such Large Load Customer by assisting Comverge in applying the general principles of the Business Model to the specific circumstances of such Large Load Customer. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Comverge will provide any and all equipment needed to execute any prototype installations or Services. Further, Comverge will be solely responsible for specifying, installing and maintaining equipment required for each prototype installation and providing the Services.
Prototype Installation. The Contractor shall provide for all aspects of prototype installations. Prototype installations are defined as the first installation of a new design. The purpose of this effort is to have the Contractor work with the Government activity to correct, improve or otherwise validate the installation technical information. This effort by the Contractor is to perform the installation per the delivery order and provide feedback comments, input, marked-up technical information, marked-up drawings such that future installations will result in more efficient costs to the Government. The Contractor shall notify the Government should problems be identified prior to performing the installation where the direction will result in costly mistakes.
Prototype Installation. The contractor shall install prototypes on vehicles, platforms, ships, submarines, facilities, at-sea buoys, and the ocean floor. The contractor shall use materials and methods that promote operational reliability and resistance to water induced corrosion for the duration of the test. The contractor shall supply professional diver support to install equipment under the water line in the case of a sea-going platform. The contractor shall verify that the equipment is installed in accordance with installation drawings, alteration documents, and alteration schematics according to design requirements specified in the TEMPALT and is operating as defined in the system technical manuals. The contractor shall provide any custom mechanical or electrical interfaces between the prototype and the host platform and location. The contractor shall integrate the custom interface devices with the prototype to complete the installation according to design requirements specified in the TEMPALT.
