Progression Increases. Employees shall be eligible for consideration for wage increases on the first payroll period following completion of the initial twenty-six (26) payroll periods of continuous service as defined in Article 17, and annual periods thereafter until the employee has reached the maximum pay rate of the applicable pay range. The annual date for such eligibility is referred to herein as the anniversary increase date.

Progression Increases a) Salary treatment shall be in accordance with the current issue of the Technical Salary Schedule and in keeping with the established grade to which each individual technical employee has been assigned. Progression incremental increases will be granted at the beginning of the pay periods nearest to April each year. Progression increases may be withheld for just cause.
Progression Increases. All wage progressions will become effective on the first day of the appropriate payroll period. Wage progression dates will be calculated from the annual wage effective date as follows: All employees hired on or prior to 2/9/03 will progress one step on the Wage Progression Schedule, up to the top annual wage rate, at six-month intervals from that date. All other employees will advance one step on the Wage Progression Schedule, up to the top annual wage rate, at six-month intervals from their individual date of hire or transfer into the bargaining unit.

In the case of continuous absence of over one month on the part of an employee, the normal time interval until the next scheduled progression increase shall be deferred by as many pay periods as the number of such complete pay periods of absence beyond the first month, and the period of deferment will be reflected in the subsequent steps of the schedule. Progression Increases. If a faculty member is not granted step progression salary increase, the decision may be appealed to a three (3)-person panel. That panel will consist of an administrator appointed by the Xxxxxxx, a faculty member appointed by the Association President, and a Department Head/Program Director agreed upon by both the Xxxxxxx and Association President. This panel will review the documentation provided by the faculty member in support of the step progression to determine whether the process has been followed and whether the documentation is adequate to meet step progression requirements. The panel’s decision will be final.
