Professional Unit. Whenever an employee is assigned by the department head or designee to perform the normal, ongoing duties of and accept responsibility of a position when the duties of the higher position are clearly outside the scope of the employee's regular classification for a period of eight (8) consecutive hours or longer, they shall be paid at the rate established for such classification while performing such duties.

Professional Unit. The College hereby recognizes the Communications Workers of America, Local 1120, AFL-CIO-CLC as the exclusive bargaining representative for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment, for all regular full-time and part-time professional employees employed by the College at its Poughkeepsie, New York educational facility, excluding all students, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act, and all other employees as determined by the National Labor Relations Board on December 23, 1985.

Teachers are expected to comply with reasonable rules, regulations, and directions adopted by the Board, or its representatives, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, provided that a teacher may reasonably refuse to carry out an order which threatens physical safety or well being or is professionally demeaning.

  • Professional Rights A Pharmacist in his professional judgment may delay or refuse to fill or refill any prescription if there is reason to believe that such action would protect the health of the patient or where reasonable doubt exists as to the legality of said prescription or the legal use thereof, after first having established the fact by having consulted the prescriber if said prescriber is available.

  • Professional Liability insurance shall be written with limits no less than $1,000,000 per claim and $1,000,000 policy aggregate limit, as applicable.

The parties’ support the principle of continuing training of teachers, participation by teachers in professional organizations in the areas of their specialization, leaves for work on advanced degrees or special studies, foreign travel and participation in community educational projects.

  • Professional Services Fees You agree to pay us the professional services fees in the amounts set forth in the Investment Summary. Those amounts are payable in accordance with our Invoicing and Payment Policy. You acknowledge that the fees stated in the Investment Summary are good-faith estimates of the amount of time and materials required for your implementation. We will bill you the actual fees incurred based on the in-scope services provided to you. Any discrepancies in the total values set forth in the Investment Summary will be resolved by multiplying the applicable hourly rate by the quoted hours.

  • PROFESSIONAL AUTONOMY 1. Teachers shall, within the bounds of the prescribed curriculum, and consistent with effective educational practice have individual professional autonomy in determining the methods of instruction, and the planning and presentation of course materials in the classes of pupils to which they are assigned.

  • Professional Services Warranty 5.1 Oracle warrants that Professional Services will be provided in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Customer must notify Oracle of any warranty deficiencies within 60 days from performance of the deficient Professional Services.
