Common use of Professional Hours Clause in Contracts

Professional Hours. (a) Staff should reasonably expect to be at their school of employment for an eight hour day (including lunch) beginning at a time indicated by the school. (b) There will be occasions in which a staff member will be required to remain at the school for longer periods than normal. The school shall give reasonable notice of such requirements. (c) This does not include reasonable co-curricular or extra-curricular expectations.
