Professional Development Program (PDP. The Hospital and the Union agree that staff development and professional recognition are critical in the recruitment and retention of quality nursing staff. Upon ratification of this Agreement, the PDP will be reinstated according to the guidelines previously approved by the Collaborative Nursing Council. There will be no limits as to the number of nurses admitted to the PDP. Nurses will be compensated at an additional three (3) percent or more for each level of the PDP attained. PDP may change the guidelines for the program from time- to-time. Any changes to the guidelines shall be approved by the Chief Nursing Officer.
