Storage of digital images to Synapse digital archiving and reporting system. • Perform high standard echocardiograms on patients in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic. • Independently prepare reports on Synapse archiving and reporting system and provide reports to referring Physicians. • Assist with transeosophageal echocardiograms in Theatre, ICU and Cardiac Catheter Lab. • Assist with invasive cardiac procedures e.g. balloon atrial septostomies in Neonatal ICU or other sites as required. • Travel to Paediatric Cardiology Regional Outreach Clinics and perform echocardiographic examinations as required. • Initiate and participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of new and existing echocardiographic modes and techniques which impact on service provision. • Prepare images for clinical and educational meetings as needed. • Assist with computer record database cases and selected museum cases. • Participate in an after-hours on call roster as required.
