Common use of Processing of Metadata Clause in Contracts

Processing of Metadata. 3.1. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Ekata may Process Metadata derived or generated from Customer Personal Information for its Business Purposes, such as to identify and protect against fraudulent or illegal activity. For clarity, Metadata does not include identifiers that indicate Customer as the source of Metadata. As between Ekata and Customer, Ekata exclusively will own rights, title, and interest in and to Metadata.
