Process for Review. (a) The Manager and/or the Employee recognize that a position needs to be reviewed: (i) The Manager notifies the Employee in writing, or (ii) An Employee makes a request in writing to the Manager that the allocation of their position be reviewed. (b) Within four (4) weeks, the Manager and the Employee (i) reach agreement on the PCQ and it is posted on the system to be approved by the Manager and submitted for review by the Senior Administrator, or (ii) If there is a failure to reach agreement, the Manager or the Employee may approach Human Resources and the Union for assistance. If consensus cannot be reached during this process, the PCQ as prepared by the Employee will be posted to the system for review by the Senior Administrator. (c) Within two (2) weeks of receipt, the Senior Administrator approves the PCQ or notifies the Employee and Manager in writing that it is not approved, and the reasons why. The PCQ can then be resubmitted by the Employee with agreed-changes, it can be abandoned, or the Senior Administrator or Employee can approach Human Resources and the Union for assistance. (d) If the Senior Administrator, Manager, and Employee cannot reach consensus, or in any event within two (2) weeks of the date the Employee receives notification that the completed PCQ referred to in 15.05 (b) is not approved by the Senior Administrator the Employee may refer the request and the completed PCQ to Human Resources for evaluation in consultation with the Senior Administrator. (e) Within twelve (12) weeks of receipt of the PCQ, Human Resources (i) Notifies the Employee (if applicable) and the Manager if changes are required in order for the PCQ to be scored. At this point, timelines are suspended until a revised PCQ is received, and (ii) Determines the scoring of the position, and (iii) Consults with the Union on the scoring of the position, and (iv) Notifies the Manager, Union, and Employee of the decision in writing.

(ii) An Employee makes a request in writing to the Manager that the allocation classification of their position be reviewed.
(b) Within four (4) weeks, the Manager and the Employee:
(i) reach agreement Reach consensus on the PCQ position description and submit it is posted on the system to be approved by the Manager and submitted for review by the Senior Administrator, or
(ii) If there is a failure to reach agreementconsensus on the position description, the Manager or the Employee may approach Human Resources and the Union for assistance. If consensus cannot be reached during this process, the PCQ as prepared by the Employee position description will be posted to the system provided for review by the Senior Administrator.
(c) Within two (2) weeks of receipt, the Senior Administrator approves Administrator:
(i) Approves the PCQ or notifies position description. The finalized position description shall be submitted to Human Resources for classification review.
(ii) Notifies the Employee and Manager in writing that it is not approved, approved and provides the reasons why. The PCQ can then be resubmitted by the Employee with agreed-changes, it position description can be abandoned, abandoned or the Senior Administrator or Employee can approach submitted to Human Resources and to facilitate a conversation with a view of achieving consensus on the Union for assistancecontent of the position description.
(d) If the Senior Administrator, Manager, Human Resources and Employee with the assistance of the Union cannot reach consensus, or in any event within two (2) weeks of the date the Employee receives notification that the completed PCQ position description referred to in 15.05 15.04 (bc) is not approved by approved, then the Senior Administrator will finalize the Employee may refer the request position description and the completed PCQ submit it to Human Resources for evaluation in consultation with the Senior Administratorclassification review.
(e) Within twelve (12) weeks of receipt of the PCQposition description, Human Resources:
(i) Notifies the Employee (if applicable) and the Manager if changes are required in order for the PCQ position description to be scoredclassified. At this point, timelines for completing the review are suspended until a revised PCQ position description is received, and
(ii) Determines the scoring of the position, andthe benchmark position and allocates the position to a classification in accordance with Article 15.02.
(iii) Consults with the Union on the scoring and benchmark position for the classification of the position, and
(iv) Notifies the Manager, Union, and Employee of the classification decision in writing.
