Public Hearings If public hearings on the scope of work are held during the period of the Agreement, Contractor will make available to testify the personnel assigned to this Agreement. The Energy Commission will reimburse Contractor for compensation and travel of the personnel at the Agreement rates for the testimony which the Energy Commission requests.
Office of Inspector General Investigative Findings Expert Review In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 531.102(m-1)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
Arbitration Board Hearings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer shall grant leave without loss of pay to a reasonable number of employees representing the Union before an Arbitration Board, provided the dispute involves the Employer.
Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. Board Hearing At the board hearing, evidence may be presented by the administration and the teacher, as to (a) whether a reduction in force is reasonably necessary and is being made in good faith and for the best interests of the District and (b) whether the recommendation to not renew the specific teacher is being made in good faith under this Reduction in Force Agreement.
