Procedure with Respect to Outside Employment and Avoiding Conflict of Interest. Subject to any other approval that may be required pursuant to University or departmental regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreement, or Faculty Handbook and in order to avoid any conflict of interest, before any member of the University's Faculty or research personnel enters into an agreement with an outside employer which provides for or contemplates the grant or any patent rights to the outside employer arising from the outside employment, the following procedure must be adopted:
