Common use of Priority of Work Clause in Contracts

Priority of Work. The Contractor shall have the right to decide the time, order and priority in which the various portions of the Work shall be performed and all other matters relative to the timely and orderly conduct of the Subcontractor’s Work. The Subcontractor shall commence its work within five (5) days of notice to proceed from the Contractor and if such work is interrupted for any reason the Subcontractor shall resume such work within two (2) business days from the Contractor’s notice to do so.
