Common use of PRE-REQUISITES Clause in Contracts

PRE-REQUISITES. For the successful and secure delivery of the Services, the following pre-requisites apply: • Supplier work can only start after a nominated support contact has assigned the request to the Supplier with the relevant Customer authorisation. • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that passwords and access rights to the Customer network and applications relevant to perform the services are valid and current in line with the service to be provided. • The Customer agrees that the Supplier may access the content on the applications as required to perform the services defined in this document. • The Supplier staff have full functional developer access on any Fix on Fail / Test environment. • The Supplier will take all necessary measures to ensure that all equipment and software used by the Supplier personnel to provide the Services to the Customer comply with the site security measures. Supplier equipment, including consultants’ PCs, network equipment, and Supplier servers, is protected with recent, adapted, up-to-date and regularly patched antivirus. • The Supplier must notify the Customer immediately of any security incidents or breaches identified by the Supplier that could impact in any way on the Customer IT environment. • The Customer and the Supplier shall comply with all applicable Data Protection legislation and regulation. The Customer is responsible for the following specific items: • Providing secure access for network/application/system to the Supplier support team performing the service. • Identifying, agreement of and documenting owners of User ID security. • Managing access control for application user identifications.
