Common use of Pre-existing Camps Clause in Contracts

Pre-existing Camps. The Parties recognizes that there may be camps built to pre-existing camp standards which, if upon inspection, continue to meet the Council’s generally accepted Camp standards and all Provincial/Federal health and safety regulations and timelines as directed by the appropriate regulatory authority, will continue to be used. Camp units so approved will continue to be ‘grandfathered’ under the terms of these current Construction Camp Rules and Regulations. Please refer to the 1987-1997 Construction Camp Rules and Regulations for questions related to these pre-existing camp facilities.
