PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. 18.1. The Employer shall reimburse employees for the cost of renewing their New Zealand Nursing Council practicing certificates where the certificates are applicable to the job being performed upon receipt of an Expense Claim form.
18.2. The Employer shall provide reasonable paid leave for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to undertake the professional development hours that are required to maintain the employee’s practicing certificate, in accordance with the guidelines of the NZ Nursing Council.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. The employer shall meet the cost of the following practicing certificates for any employee whose only income from medical, nursing, midwifery or social work practice is from their employment with an employer party to this Agreement: • the Nurses Practicing Certificate fees • in recognition of the professional and indemnity insurance components of the NZNO fee, individual services will contribute 50% of the annual NZNO fee upon production of either invoices or receipts • the levy for the Medical Misadventure Fund as required under the Accident and Rehabilitation and Compensation Insurance Act. • The annual membership fee for the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers, including the portion of this fee that applies to annual professional indemnity insurance. • All fees paid to the Social Workers Registration Board for Registration, Annual Practising Certificates and Competence and Recertification assessments.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. The employer shall meet the cost of the following; • the Nurses Practicing Certificate fees. • in recognition of the professional and indemnity insurance components of the NZNO fee, the employer will contribute 60% of the annual NZNO fee upon production of either invoices or receipts.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES a) The employer will pay up to a maximum of $100.00 including GST, either by way of reimbursement or direct payment for practising certificates for registered nurses and enrolled nurses who meet the criteria set out below:-
b) To be eligible for the payment of a practising certificate fee an employee covered by this agreement must:-
(i) be employed on the employers permanent staff; and
(ii) be employed for at least sixteen (16) hours per week or be the only Registered Nurse employee, apart from the Manager, at the Aged Care facility; and
(iii) be required to hold a current practising certificate to carry out the duties of the job.
c) Where the Employee is required as a term of their employment to hold a current Practicing certificate the Employee shall produce such a certificate to the Employer on request.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. The employer agrees to meet the cost of any fees set by the Education Council, pursuant to section 364(1) of the Education ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, for the purposes of issuing or renewal of practising certificates for teachers covered by this Collective Agreement.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. The Employer shall, upon production of evidence, reimburse the cost of annual practising certificates for Registered and Enrolled Nurses, except where the cost is met by another employer. A high standard of presentation and a professional image to clients is required. The employee may therefore be required to wear a uniform, in which case one may be subsidised by the Employer. Depending upon the nature of the work the employee may also be required to wear additional protective clothing provided by the Employer. Where there is no requirement to wear a unform, the Employer expects that the employee will present themselves in a professional manner consistent with the obligation to clients. The employee is responsible for any uniform or other clothing or equipment or valuables (including money) issued or entrusted to the employee by the Employer or its clients.

(i) be employed as a registered nurse or enrolled nurse with Presbyterian Support and Presbyterian Support is the primary place of employment
(ii) be required to hold a current practising certificate to carry out the duties of the job.
c) Where the Employee is required as a term of their employment to hold a current Practising certificate the Employee shall produce such a certificate to the Employer on request.
PRACTISING CERTIFICATES. MCNZ DHBs Note: Once the MCNZ has received an application for a practising certificate from a doctor, he/she is deemed to have a practising certificate unless notified otherwise by the Registrar.
