13.02 To (b) Plant Holidays shall be eligible for holiday recognized with pay, credited at straight time, provided the following conditions are met:
(i) The employee worked on the regularly scheduled shifts immediately preceding and following the Holiday(s), unless he was unable to work on such shifts, because of serious illness or accident, established to the satisfaction of the company, or lay off, or unless he received prior permission to be absent for such shifts and provided that such employee has worked within five (5) calendar days prior to the holiday and within five (5) calendar days subsequent to the holidays unless such an employee must have is laid off and has worked his/her last full scheduled working day immediately precedingthe holiday within 5 calendar days prior to December 24, in which case such employee will be entitled to the plant holidays falling between December 14 and his/her first full scheduled working day immediately following theholiday. Any employee onlay-off at thetime aholiday falls, must have performed work for the Company within ten (10) days before or within ten (10) days after the holiday to be eligible for pay for such holidaysJanuary 1 inclusive. An employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits on vacation shall not be deemed to be absent for either the purpose of thequalifyingdays this condition.
(ii) The employee, if having been assigned to work the Holiday and having accepted such Holiday work as assignment did not fail to report without just cause.
(c) For any work performed on the above mentioned Plant Holidays, additional payment shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively made at work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholiday.
13.03 If an employee works on one a premium rate of the above named paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at double time for actual hours worked.
(d) An employee who has suffered serious illness or accident, established to the satisfaction of the Company during the week prior to the week in which the Plant Holiday is observed will be paid the difference between his regular wages computed at eight hours at straight time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday payand the disability and accident benefits received or Worker’s Compensation benefits, if any.

PLANT HOLIDAYS. 13.01 The An employee who has completed his probationary period will receive the following plant holidaysholidays with pay: New Year's Day Canada Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Civic Day Christmas Day Victoria Day Labour Day Boxing Day One-half day the day before Christmas Day. One-half day the day before New Year's Day. Two (2) floating holidays (as per conditions below). The floating holidays with pay are to be observed on a day of the employee's choosing within the contract year earned, regardless provided:
1) Its date is made known to the immediate supervisor at least one week in advance.
2) It does not hamper the Company's operations in any unreasonable fashion; otherwise, the holiday will be observed at another day of when the employee's choosing, filling the above provisions.
13.02 Plant holiday pay will be computed at the regular hourly rate on the basis of the number of hours an employee would otherwise have worked had there been no holiday.
13.03 In order to qualify for plant holiday pay, the employee must work his full scheduled shift of each of his working days immediately preceding and immediately following the plant holiday concerned unless the employee has a reason satisfactory to the Company.
13.04 For the application of the sections of this Article, the plant holidays as listed above will be observed on the day on which they falloccur, except that if such a holiday occurs on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday, or if such holiday occurs on a Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday. The parties reserve the right to substitute any other day in place of a statutory holiday, after mutual agreement, in consideration of local prevailing conditions and operations requirements.
13.05 An employee who is required to work his regularly scheduled shift will be paid at the rate of twice his regular hourly rate for the entire shift worked in addition to his holiday pay, provided such shift commences in the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 23:00 hours on the eve of a plant holiday, otherwise the entire shift will be paid at the regular hourly rate.
13.06 In the event that a plant holiday falls within an employee's vacation period, he will be granted an extra day's holiday with pay to all employees. 23.04 Employees shall be required to supply proof of any accident or illness if requested by the Company. If the proof required by the Company shall be a cost to the employee(s) the Company agrees that they shall reimburse the employee(s) for the doctor’s fee to provide such proof.
23.05 When any of the holidays are observed during an employee’s scheduled vacation period, he shall receive holiday pay as provided in Clause 23.02 above and shall be granted an additional day off.
23.06 Any authorized work performed by an employee on any above named holidays shall be paid at the rate of double time in addition to holiday pay. Drivers scheduled on U.S. runs shall work on the holiday unless there is a holiday in the U. S., and will receive his regular rate of pay for hours worked plus a day off with public holiday pay.
23.07 Employees who have not completed their probationary period at the time of the holiday shall not receive holiday pay.
23.08 An employee will be eligible for pay for such holidaysa floater day after five years of continuous service. An The floater day will be granted upon no less than five days notice from the employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits for either of thequalifyingdays shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively at work with and the Company reserves the right to reschedule a specific date request where manufacturing or service operations are deemed to be adversely affected, by mutual agreement between the parties. (a) Four (4) additional days to this be used as a floater and such days to be determined by mutual agreement. One (1) of the floater days will be unpaid. Group F and above are required to work if scheduled by the Company. Employees required to work a floater shall be provided with a day off in lieu to be scheduled during the current vacation year by mutual agreement with their supervisor.
(b) Should one of the above plant holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, another day shall be observed as the holiday by mutual agreement between the Parties. The Company and the Union agree the actual Canada Day holiday date to be observed will be posted thirty (30) days prior to the day it is to be taken.
(c) The scheduling of plant holidays is to be by mutual agreement, as Schedule “C” is a listing of the dates upon which it is agreed the foregoing holidays will be celebrated during the life of this agreement. Payment having regard to customer requirements.

Any following, unless the employee onlaywas unable to work because of illness or accident, leave of absence, or lay-off at thetime aholiday fallsoff, must have performed work for the Company within vacation and such absence began not more than ten (10) days before or within ten (10) days after working day prior to the day on which the holiday is observed. The full last scheduled day above shall be interpreted as the last work day that the plant is scheduled to work, excluding overtime shifts. The employee must report to work not later than one (1) hour after shift start and remain at work for the remainder of the shift in order to be eligible for the full holiday pay entitlement. Reporting for such holidayswork later than one (1) hour after shift start will result in the employee being disentitled to no more than two (2) holiday and/or floater days for each incident of lateness. An Absence from work on the last scheduled work day preceding and/or immediately following a holiday period shall disentitle the employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits from all of their entitlement for either of thequalifyingdays holiday and floaters during that holiday period.
21.04 The employee shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory required to supply proof of inability to work on approved Doctor's form due to any accident or illness, immediately upon their return to work, in order to qualify for holiday pay.
21.05 When any of the holidays are observed during an employee's scheduled vacation period he shall receive holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, as provided he/she has been actively at work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholidayin Clause 21.02 above.

PLANT HOLIDAYS. 13.01 12.01 The Company will recognize the following plant holidays, regardless of when they fall, will be granted with pay to all employees. If by reason of an election, the Company is prevented from making deliveries to this agreementany area, the Company shall, wherever possible, reschedule work in the week so as Schedule “C” is a listing to avoid layoffs. If any of the dates upon holidays should fall on a Saturday or Sunday, which is an employee’s non- working day, then the Company will designate the work day on which it is agreed the foregoing holidays will be celebrated during observed. It is understood that either the life preceding normal working day or the following normal working day shall be the designated holiday. In order to achieve operational flexibility, the Company may schedule a portion of this agreement. Payment the workforce to observe the holiday on the Friday and another portion of the workforce to observe the holiday on the Monday.
12.02 Employees will receive eight (8) hours straight time pay for each of such holidays shall be based without being required to work on such days provided that:
(a) the employee has not been absent without permission on the employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied last work day scheduled for them immediately prior to the day on which the said holiday is observed, or the first work day scheduled for them immediately after the day on which the said holiday is observed.
(b) In cases where an employee has been on Weekly Indemnity or Workers Compensation and is cleared by the number of hourshe/she would normally have worked on each day. * Floating holidays will be granted their physician to all employees based return to work prior to or on the following schedule: Employees on 3 day x 12 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 4 day x 10 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 5 day x 8 hr shifts 3 floating holidays

12.03 Any employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits for either who is required to work on any of thequalifyingdays the aforementioned plant holidays shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively paid at work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholiday.
13.03 If an employee works on one rate of the above named paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at double time for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday paytheir regular day’s pay of eight (8) hours. 21.03 Holiday pay shall be computed on the basis of the number of hours the employee would otherwise have worked had there been no holiday, at the employee's regular straight time hourly rate of pay.
13.03 21.04 An employee who works on any of the holidays listed in Article 21.01 hereof shall be paid for each such hour worked on such holiday at the rate of two (2) times his regular rate of pay, and in addition shall receive the holiday pay provided herein, if he meets the eligibility requirements contained in Article 21.02.
(a) Employees with one (1) year or more of continuous service shall receive one (1) day off with regular pay on their birthday. Where their birthday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the employee will receive the next working day off with regular pay.
(b) The Company will provide an Annual paid “Float Day” based on a 10 hour shift, payable to senior employees (service over 6 months). This Float Day will be applied (and paid out) at timing of the company’s choice (typically over the Christmas vacation period)
21.06 If an employee works who is otherwise disqualified under this Article from receiving holiday pay or premium pay has a right to receive public holiday pay or premium pay under the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended, the employee shall receive such public holiday pay and/or premium pay as are required by that Act.
21.07 If a holiday listed in Article 21.01 falls on one of a Saturday or Sunday, the above named paid holidaysfollowing Monday or Tuesday, he/she will receive payment at double time for as determined by the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday payEmployer, shall be substituted.

PLANT HOLIDAYS. 13.01 16.1 The following plant holidays, regardless of when they fall, will Plant Holidays shall be granted with pay to all employees. b) For those Employees who work the other shift during the week of the dates upon which it is agreed Holiday mentioned in a) above, they will either receive a day off during the foregoing holidays same week or work their Regular scheduled shifts and receive an additional day's pay (11.667 hours pay). This will be celebrated during at the life Company's prerogative. If a Statutory Holiday falls on a Sunday or Monday, the "A" and "B' Shifts shall receive the Sunday Night and Monday Day off, and Shifts "C" and "D" would follow the guidelines set out in paragraph two. The one (1) Floating Holiday noted above will be paid as an 11.667 hour day.
16.2 A Plant Holiday for Night Shift workers is normally observed on the night of a Plant Holiday. However, it may be observed on the eve of the Holiday by mutual agreement of the Company and a majority of the Employees covered by this Agreement. If the Plant is operating under the option provided for in Article 12.05, it may, at the option of the Company, observe its' Holiday on the first shift of the actual Holiday (12:00 midnight or 1:45 am. to 8:00 a.m.)
16.3 An Employee shall not be paid for Plant Holidays not worked under the following conditions:
a) If, for any reason, the Employee is absent from work the full working day before and the full working day following the day on which the Plant Holiday is observed, except where arrangements have been made otherwise with the foreperson or superintendent, or if late due to conditions beyond the normal control of the Employee that have been justified to the satisfaction of the Company;
b) If, for any reason, the Employee is absent for more than thirty (30) working days immediately preceding the Plant Holiday;
c) The Employee is laid off more than two (2) working days prior to a Plant Holiday;
d) The Employee has not completed thirty (30) working days of continuous service with the Company immediately prior to the observance of the Plant Holiday or prior to any layoff occurring within two (2) working days of the Plant Holiday.
16.4 For the purposes of this agreement. Payment for such holidays shall be based on the employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied by the number of hourshe/she would normally have worked on each day. * Floating holidays will be granted to all employees based on the following schedule: Article , new Employees on 3 day x 12 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 4 day x 10 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 5 day x 8 hr shifts 3 floating holidays

16.6 Should a Plant Holiday be observed on a Friday, the short shift (5 hours) shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively at worked the preceding work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholidayday.
13.03 If an employee works on one of the above named paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at double time for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday pay.

13.04 Effective July 1st, 2019 and every July 1st thereafter, twenty four (24) hours of floating holiday entitlement will be granted to all employees. For the time period from October 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 floating holidays well be granted in the same manner as previous years.
13.05 Employees shall submit floating holiday requests on or before March 31st for the upcoming year (July 1st – June 30th). Floating holidays will be posted and maintained as part of the Departmental vacation schedule. Where more than one (1) employee requests vacation/floating holidays for the same period, seniority will govern. Requests submitted after March 31st will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The Company, after advising the employee will schedule any outstanding floating holidays as of January 31st of the current year.

An employee receiving Workers’ Compensation Employees who do not complete their probationary period until September 1 or Company Weekly Disability benefits for either of thequalifyingdays later shall not be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for entitled to any floating holidays that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively at work with the Company within thirty year. PLANT HOLIDAYS. 13.01 15.01 The following shall be observed as plant holidays, regardless of when they fall, will be granted with pay to all employees. 15.02 Where no work is performed on these holidays, (the day on which the holiday is observed) Employees will be paid straight time for such days, providing they are at work the scheduled shift before the holiday and after the holiday, except in those cases of bona fide sickness or unless arrangements have been made otherwise with the Supervisor or Press & Prepress Manager, or if late due to this agreement, as Schedule “C” is a listing conditions beyond the normal control of the dates upon Employee which it is agreed have been justified to the foregoing satisfaction of the Employer.
15.03 When any of the above holidays will be celebrated during fall on a Saturday, the life of this agreement. Payment for such holidays holiday shall be based observed by the night shift on the employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied preceding Friday night shift or the following Sunday night shift. 13.02 To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must have worked his/her last full scheduled working day immediately precedingthe holiday and his/her first full scheduled working day immediately following theholidayshift. Any employee onlay-off at thetime aholiday falls, must have performed work for the Company within ten (10) days before or within ten (10) days after If production requirements do not permit the holiday to be observed as previously stated, another day's holiday will be granted following mutual agreement between the Employer and the Employees or a regular day's pay will be granted in lieu thereof (For night shift Employees only, the holiday may be observed on the night preceding the holiday or the night of the holiday itself). The Employer shall give at least fourteen (14) days notice to the Employees of the day on which the holiday will be observed.
15.04 Employees who are eligible for pay for a plant holiday as set out in the Article, and who are required to work on such plant holidays. An employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits for either of thequalifyingdays , shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory paid at one and a half times the regular rate and shall be given a day off with pay on a day mutually satisfactory to the Employee and the Employer, or a day's pay in lieu thereof. However, such a day off must be taken within a four-week period after the holiday, including the week in which the holiday occurred.
15.05 July 1st, Canada Day, falling on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or a Thursday, may be observed by the Employer on the Employee’s first scheduled shift and / or the last scheduled shift of the holiday week. The Employer shall give two weeks notice (14 days) of the day on which the holiday will be observed.
15.06 When Christmas Day falls on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, Boxing Day may be observed on the regularly scheduled work day before or after the day on which Christmas Day is observed.
15.07 An Employee who is laid off during his regularly scheduled work week immediately prior to a work week in which a plant holiday occurs, shall be paid for the holiday provided that he has worked nine (9) working days of the preceding eighteen (18) working days immediately prior to the holiday.
15.08 For a 36 hour work week, a plant holiday shall be construed as being one-third of the regular weekly hours. For a 40 hour work week, a plant holiday shall be construed as being one-fifth of the regular weekly hours.
15.09 For those employees whose plant holiday(s) as specified above, falls outside of their regular scheduled work week, such Employees shall have the option of either one of the following:
a) Accepting a days pay andwhatever thebenefit in lieu of the plant holiday
b) Observing an alternative day (lieu day) off with pay on a date mutually agreeable between the Employee and the Employer. Employees will be responsible for that notifying the Employer no later than Wednesday of the week in which the schedule is posted if they wish to observe an alternative day off. Failure to notify the Employer as outlined above will result in the Employer paying the holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively at work with in the Company pay week in which it falls. Failure to agree on the alternative day off within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholidayfrom the date of the holiday will result in the Employer assigning the “lieu day” or a days pay.
13.03 If an employee works 15.10 During a five (5) day, forty (40) hour work week, statutory holidays will be taken on one the day they occur or observed on the Employee’s first scheduled shift or last scheduled shift of the above named paid holidays, he/she holiday week. A plant holiday shall be construed as being one fifth (1/5th) of their regular weekly hours. The Employer shall give two weeks notice (14 days) of the day on which the holiday will receive payment at double time for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday paybe observed.

Effective January 1, as Schedule “C” is a listing of 2006, the dates upon which it is agreed the foregoing holidays Random Day will be celebrated during administered on a calendar year basis. For the life period from October 4th 2004 to December 31st 2005 employees will be entitled to 2 Random Days. For the first Random Day employees who have not already used this Random Day will have until the end of 2005 to use that day. The second Random Day will be paid out as 8 hours pay upon ratification of this agreementAgreement.
c) In the event a holiday falls on Saturday and/or Sunday (8- hour shift), the Company agrees to grant another day or days off with pay in lieu thereof. Payment for Such day, or days, shall be mutually agreed on.
d) In the event that several holidays fall in succession (8 – hour shift), a day (or days) off with pay in lieu of such holidays shall be based on the employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied discussed and agreed upon by the number of hourshe/she would normally have worked on each dayparties. * Floating Such holidays will be granted scheduled so that employees will have successive days off. e) Payment for any of the aforesaid holidays shall not be made if any employee did not work the entire authorized shift on the day immediately prior to the holiday, the day of the holiday and the day following schedule: Employees on 3 the holiday unless absence was caused by verified illness or injury, death in the immediate family, or jury duty, layoffs not continuing over two (2) calendar weeks, Leaves of Absence not continuing over two (2) calendar weeks or attending Union business. For those ill or injured, the Company will pay the difference between any benefit received and the regular statutory rate for a maximum period of twenty-six (26) weeks.
f) Upon prior Company approval, an employee providing a qualified replacement to cover the qualifying day x 12 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 4 day x 10 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 5 day x 8 hr shifts 3 floating holidays
13.02 To shall be considered as having worked and be eligible for holiday pay. Replacement shall be paid at the prevailing rate. However, such approval to switch shall not result in overtime compensation to any employees affected.
g) For pay calculation purposes, the hours of a holiday shall be considered as commencing at 12.00
a. m. on the holiday and ending at 12.00 a.m. on the following day for the eight (8) hour shift. For the twelve (12) hour shift, the holiday shall be considered as commencing at 8.00 am on the holiday and ending at 8.00 am on the following day.
h) For December 24 and 26, the Company will run its operations at full capacity. For the period from 2:00 p.m. on December 24 until 8:00 a.m. on December 26, the Company will shut down operations. The Company may canvass for volunteers to work during this period for production and non-production jobs. If inventory is sufficient to supply customer needs the plant will be closed for the full 3 day Christmas period.
i) Company agrees that as long as payroll is operational, that it pays all employees 52 times a year. If payroll is not operational over the above holidays, the Company agrees to pay the above statutory holidays to employees who are otherwise eligible, five days prior to the Christmas shutdown, provided that should it ultimately be determined that an employee must have worked his/her last full scheduled working day immediately precedingthe is not eligible to receive any of the statutory holiday and his/her first full scheduled working day immediately following theholiday. Any employee onlay-off at thetime aholiday fallspay so advanced, must have performed work for that the Company within ten (10) days before is authorized to deduct from or within ten (10) days after set off against the holiday employee’s next regular pay any monies so advanced to be eligible for which the employee was not entitled to. The Company agrees to separate the pay for such holidays. (a) Four (4) additional days to this be used as a floater and such days to be determined by mutual agreement. Group F and above are required to work if scheduled by the Company. Employees required to work a floater shall be provided with a day off in lieu to be scheduled during the current vacation year by mutual agreement with their supervisor.
(b) Should one of the above plant holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, another day shall be observed as the holiday by mutual agreement between the Parties. The Company and the Union agree the actual Canada Day holiday date to be observed will be posted thirty (30) days prior to the day it is to be taken.
(c) The scheduling of plant holidays is to be by mutual agreement, as Schedule “C” is a listing of the dates upon which it is agreed the foregoing holidays will be celebrated during the life of this agreement. Payment having regard to customer requirements.

The full last scheduled day above shall be interpreted as the last work day that the plant is scheduled to work, excluding overtime shifts. The employee must report to work not later than one (1) hour after shift start and remain at work for the remainder of the shift in order to be eligible for the full holiday pay entitlement. Reporting for such holidayswork later than one (1) hour after shift start will result in the employee being disentitled to no more than two (2) holiday and/or floater days for each incident of lateness. An Absence from work on the last scheduled work day preceding and/or immediately following a holiday period shall disentitle the employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits from all of their entitlement for either of thequalifyingdays holiday and floaters during that holiday period.
21.04 The employee shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory required to supply proof of inability to work on approved Doctor's form due to any accident or illness, immediately upon their return to work, in order to qualify for holiday pay.
21.05 When any of the holidays are observed during an employee's scheduled vacation period he shall receive holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, as provided he/she has been actively at work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholidayin Clause 21.02 above.
13.03 If 21.06 Any authorized work performed by an employee works on one any of the above above-named Statutory or floating holidays shall be paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at the rate of time and one half in addition to holiday pay or at double time in the case of Christmas Day, New Year's Day or Good Friday.
21.07 Employees shall not be entitled to holiday pay for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her a holiday payfor which he will receive compensation under any wage loss reimbursement program.

Should an additional statutory holiday be proclaimed, one of the Floating Holidays shall be observed on the day on which that holiday is proclaimed. For employees on the 36 hour schedule, Good Friday will receive payment at double time be observed Saturday. When July 1st falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, it will be observed on the Monday. When July 1st falls on a Thursday or Friday, it will be observed on the last working day of the week for employees working on those days.
8.03 An employee who is laid off within two (2) working days prior to the Plant Holiday shall be paid for the time actually holiday provided the employee has completed, immediately prior to the observance of the Plant Holiday, thirty (30) working days of continuous service with the Company, provided that in no case shall an employee who is eligible for holiday pay pursuant to the Employment Standards Act be deprived thereof.
8.04 In the case of employees working on the 37 ½ hour schedule, when any of the above Plant Holidays falls on a Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on the following Monday. When any of the above Plant Holidays falls on a Saturday, the holiday shall be observed on any one of the following: the preceding Friday or the following Monday.
8.05 In the case of employees working on the 37 ½ hour schedule, when any of the above Plant Holidays falls on a Saturday, the Company shall give at least one week’s (7 day’s) notice to employees of the day on which the Plant Holiday shall be observed.
8.06 In the case of employees working on the 37 ½ hour schedule, should a Plant Holiday be observed on a Friday, the short shift (5 ½ hours) shall be worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday payon the preceding work day.

13.03 If an employee works on one rate of the above named paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at double time for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday paytheir regular day’s pay of eight (8) hours. 15.02 Employees on the seniority list will receive eight (8) hours' straight time pay for each of such holidays without being required to work on such days, provided that the employee has not been absent without permission on the last work day scheduled for him immediately prior to the day on which the said holiday is observed or the first work day scheduled for him or her immediately after the day on which the said holiday is observed unless he or she provides a satisfactory medical certificate or is absent with the written permission of the Company.
15.03 In a calendar week in which one (1) or more plant holidays is observed, the number of days in that week which may be worked at straight time shall be based on the employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied reduced by the number of hourshe/she would normally have worked such holidays.

13.02 Plant holiday pay will be computed on the basis of the normally scheduled shift hours at the employee's regular hourly rate.
13.03 In order to this qualify for plant holiday pay, the employee must work his full scheduled shift on each of his working days immediately preceding and immediately following the plant holiday concerned. Absence on either one or the other, but not on both of these days, will be excused if the Company is satisfied that such absence is due to the employee's illness or injury, and the employee is not collecting sickness or accident benefits of any kind on the day of the holiday.
13.04 Plant holidays, as listed above, will be observed on the day on which they occur for all employees whose regularly scheduled shifts are outlined in Clause 12.0l c) and d). The plant holidays, as listed above, for all employees whose regularly scheduled shifts are outlined in Clause 12.01 a) and b) will be observed on the day on which they occur, except that if such a holiday occurs on a Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday, and if it occurs on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. By mutual agreement, as Schedule “C” is a listing the parties may choose to substitute any other day for the observance of any one of the dates upon which it is agreed Plant holidays. The parties will endeavor to plan shifts outlined in Clause l2.0l c) and d) so that the foregoing opportunity to work on Plant holidays will be celebrated during the life of this agreement. Payment for such holidays shall be based distributed as equally as possible.
13.05 An employee who is required to work on the plant holiday will be paid for authorized work performed on such day at two (2) times his regular hourly rate in addition to his holiday pay.
13.06 In the event that a plant holiday falls within an employee’s regular hourlyrate multiplied by the number of hourshe/she would normally have worked on each day. * Floating holidays vacation period, he will be granted to all employees based an extra day’s holiday at a mutually acceptable time or, at employee’s option, pay therefore on the following schedule: Employees on 3 day x 12 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 4 day x 10 hr shifts 2 floating holidays Employees on 5 day x 8 hr shifts 3 floating holidays
13.02 To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must have worked his/her last full scheduled working day immediately precedingthe holiday and his/her first full scheduled working day immediately following theholiday. Any employee onlay-off at thetime aholiday falls, must have performed work for the Company within ten (10) days before or within ten (10) days after the holiday to be eligible for pay for such holidays. An employee receiving Workers’ Compensation or Company Weekly Disability benefits for either of thequalifyingdays shall be paidthedifferencebetweenthestatutory holiday pay andwhatever thebenefit for that holiday he/she may receive fromeither source, provided he/she has been actively at work with the Company within thirty (30) calendar days immediately precedingtheholidaysame basis as herein provided.
13.03 If an employee works on one of the above named paid holidays, he/she will receive payment at double time for the time actually worked by him/her in addition to receiving his/her holiday pay.
