PERSONNEL INFORMATION AND RECORDS. 10.1 An employee shall on his/her request and by appointment be permitted to examine his/her personnel file which shall be kept in the personnel department. This information, whether positive or negative, shall be maintained in this file, and not in a separate file that can be presented later. An employee may be given a copy of any material in his/her file if it is to be used in connection with a grievance or a personnel hearing.
