Personal Technology Clause Samples

Personal Technology. For the purposes of the District’s ERUP, “personal technology” refers to privately owned wireless and/or portable electronic hand-held equipment that can be used for word processing, wireless Internet access, image capture and recording, sound recording, information transmitting and/or receiving, storing, etc. These devices may include, but are not limited to, personal laptops, Smartphones, network access devices, and other electronic signaling devices.
Personal Technology. Student is responsible for the safety and well-being of any personal electronic device.
Personal Technology. Bargaining unit employees shall not be required or expected to use any personal technology to complete work assignments including but not limited to personal computers and cell phone data.
Personal Technology. If any personal technology is connected to the CPSD’s network, it can legally be considered part of the CPSD’s property. The content on personal technology can be procured and/or confiscated by the District if the material on them is illegal or improper.

All allowed use of personal technology is at the owner’s discretion, and the North Middlesex Regional School District shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or costs related to the use of personal technology.

  • New Technology When new or updated technology is introduced into a workplace, it will be the responsibility of the employer to provide appropriate and, if necessary, ongoing training to the employees directly affected. Such training will include any health and safety implications or information that will enable employees to operate the equipment without discomfort and will help maintain their general well-being.

  • PERSONAL SCOPE This Agreement shall apply to persons who are residents of one or both of the Contracting States.
