Permissible Uses. Sick leave may be applied only to: A. Absence due to illness, injury or pregnancy of an employee. B. Absence due to medical and dental office appointments of an employee when approved by the employee's supervisor. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for the care of the employee's father, father-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, brother, sister, husband, wife, domestic partner, child, child of domestic partner, grandparent, grandchild, legal guardian, or any family member with whom the employee resides. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ due to a job-related injury. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ related to an employee who is a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, for the purposes described in Labor Code sections 230(c) and 230.1(a).
