Permissible Uses. Sick leave may be granted to an employee, upon approval by the Employer, for the following reasons: A. Illness, injury or pregnancy related condition of the employee. B. Exposure of an employee to a contagious disease which could be communicated to and jeopardize the health of other employees or the public. C. Examination of the employee, including medical, psychological, dental or optical examination, by an approved practitioner, which cannot be scheduled during non-work time.

Examination ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for the care of the employee's father, including medicalfather-in-law, psychologicalmother, dental mother-in-law, brother, sister, husband, wife, child, grandparent, legal guardian, or optical examination, by an approved practitioner, which cannot be scheduled during nonany family member with whom the employee resides.
