The 'Permanent Unit Member' clause defines the status and rights of individuals who are recognized as ongoing members of a specific unit, such as a bargaining unit or organizational group. Permanent Unit Member. A unit member who has met the requirements of a probationary trial period.
Permanent Unit Member. Permanent unit member refers to any unit member working who has completed her/his probationary period which shall not exceed two (2) years from start date.

15 D. A written evaluation shall be on the appropriate District forms and 16 an evaluation conference shall be scheduled between the unit 17 member and the evaluator to discuss the completed evaluation.

Each person who has served as a probationary unit member and has been has recommended for regular status shall be classified as a permanent employee or have his/her employment terminated. Permanent employees shall be dismissed during the employment period for cause only (see grounds for dismissal Policy). 4.
