Common use of Period of Notice of Termination on Redundancy Clause in Contracts

Period of Notice of Termination on Redundancy. (a) If the services of an employee are to be terminated due to redundancy such employee shall be given notice of termination as prescribed by Clause 37.1(a) of this Agreement provided that employees to whom notification of termination of service is to be given on account of the introduction or proposed introduction by the G4S of automation or other like technological changes in the industry in relation to which the G4S is engaged shall be not less than three months’ notice of termination.

(a) If 16.3.3.1 lf the services of an employee Employee are to be terminated due to redundancy such employee Employee shall be given notice of termination as prescribed by Clause 37.1(a) clause 16.1.1 of this Agreement provided that employees Employees to whom notification of termination of service is to be given on account of the introduction or proposed introduction by the G4S Employer of automation or other like technological changes in the industry in relation to which the G4S Employer is engaged shall be given not less than three months’ months notice of termination.
