Performance Eligibility Clause Samples

The Performance Eligibility clause defines the criteria or conditions that a party must meet to be considered eligible to perform under the contract. Typically, this involves verifying qualifications, certifications, or compliance with certain standards before work can begin or payments are made. For example, a contractor may need to demonstrate specific licenses or past experience to qualify for a project. This clause ensures that only capable and qualified parties are allowed to fulfill contractual obligations, thereby reducing the risk of non-performance or substandard work.
