Common use of Pelvis Clause in Contracts

Pelvis. 2.9.1. The pelvis is shown as part No. 8 in Figure 1 of this annex. 2.9.2. The pelvis consists of a sacrum block, two iliac wings, two hip joints assemblies and a flesh simulating foam covering. 2.9.3. The sacrum (part No. 8a) consists of a mass tuned metal block and a metal plate mounted on top of this block. In the aft side of the block is a cavity to facilitate the application of instrumentation. 2.9.4. The iliac wings (part No. 8b) are made of polyurethane (PU)-resin. 2.9.5. The hip joints assemblies (part No. 8c) are made of steel parts. They consist of an upper femur bracket and a ball joint connected to an axle passing through the dummy’s H-point. 2.9.6. The flesh system (part No. 8d) is made of a polyvinlychloride (PVC) skin filled with polyurethane (PU)
