Peace Corps. Peace Corps leave shall be granted without pay to any teacher who enlists for a period not to exceed two (2) years. Upon return from such leave, a teacher will be placed on the salary schedule at the level which he would have attained had he remained actively employed in the system during the period of absence. Peace Corps is for one (1) year at a time and the teacher must renew his leave for the second year.
